Routine is the enemy
The creators of iDiablo understand that CrossFit is not about only doing the WODs that you're at, but to train for any contingency. We put together a unique set of workouts that will challenge you in the three areas of Crossfit: Weight training, gymnastics, and metabolic conditioning. These workouts with the use of the iPhone slot machine will ensure that you have a constantly varied workout.
iDiablo Lite includes the following WODs:
- Benchmark Girls ( Angie, Barbara, Chelsea, Cindy, Diane, Elizabeth, Fran, Grace, Helen, Isabel, Jackie, Karen, Linda, Mary, and Nancy)
- The New Girls ( Annie, Eva, Kelly, Lynne, and Nicole)
- The Heroes ( JT, Michael, Josh, Jason, Nate, and Lumberjack 20)
- CrossFit Official ( Trevor, The Chief, Snellen, Nasty Girls, Man Grace, Karabel, Jeremy, G.I. Jane, Filthy Fifty, Fight Gone Bad, CrossFit Total, and Annie are you ok)
We believe in the mechanics of functional movements
CrossFit designed their exercises and workouts to be beneficial to all walks of life, including Olympic athletes to grandmother's who want to keep up with their grand kids. With that in mind, we developed iDiablo with the capability to assist beginners, challenge the advanced athletes, and serve as a reference guide to all CrossFitters. To accommodate this, we broke down each WOD to list the exercises involved as well as exercise details. Our instructional images allow the user to view the movement from start to finish. In addition to the images, there are text based instructions too.
Ditch the notebook and track WODs on your iPhone or iPod touch
iDiablo is customized to track each WOD based on the way the WOD was designed. For example, if the WOD is for time, then the app becomes a stopwatch, if the WOD is AMRAP (As Many Rounds/Reps As Possible), then the app becomes a timer with a touch screen counter. iDiablo is also the only CrossFit iPhone app that is customized to work with Fight Gone Bad. Each round is broken into 1 minute increments of each exercise ( wall ball, sumo deadlift high pull, box jump, push press, and row) and is equipped with our AMRAP counter and keypad entry to enter in the amount of calories burned for the row. There is also built in audible cues to let the user know when the end of each round is over.
Logging (has nothing to do with chopping wood, unless your WOD instructs you to)
Last but not least, iDiablo comes with a logging tool to record your workout results. This utility is integrated into the WOD tracking so there is no need to manually input your times or reps. Each time you finish a workout, you will have the option to add those results to your workout log. If there are any calculations needed, the app will automatically do it for you. For example, Fight Gone Bad will add up all of your reps per station and show you a summary at the end of the WOD. You can also add additional notes to your workout log if you need to remind yourself to keep your back flat during deadlifts.
Bonus Features:
- External Stopwatch - in case you need to use a stopwatch that is not tied to a particular WOD or if you just want to time how long you can hold your breath.
- Tabata Timer - Our tabata timer tells you (through vibration and/or sound) when each round starts and ends.
- Last 10 Seconds - Every WOD includes an audible cue that notifies the athlete that only 10 seconds remains in the round or WOD.
- AMRAP Counter - This timer is awesome! Keep track of your rounds/reps for accurate score keeping. The screen on your iPhone or iPod touch becomes an incremental tap counter (you can even change the size of the tap counter from large to small).
